Once you join, just jump on in. Tell us some boring detail about your life and I guarantee we will find it fascinating. But please read the rules first, they are short. It's not a bad read, either.

1- Don't insult people unless you are kidding. If you think someone said something stupid, instead of telling them they are stupid, just try to explain your opinion and why you disagree as best you can.

2- Don't overuse emoticons; try to express yourself with words.

3- Keep recipes and food porn vegan. Also, don't post about how much you love non-vegan items here. This is a place to celebrate vegan food, please respect that!

4- If you aren't sure about something, do some fact checking on wikipedia.org or google, and cite your source; it makes political discussions a little smoother.

5- Racist, sexist, homophobic things will be immediately deleted. We encourage debate but that sort of thing just won't be tolerated.

6- We have a lot of usernames with "vegan" or "tofu" or "veg" or "seitan" and we even have a few "quinoas". Please, no more. It's confusing. Also, choose a username that looks like it was chosen by a human, not a robot. Random strings of letters and numbers are apt to be mistaken for spambots and deleted. And Also! Introduce yourself!

7- You can't post pics of yourself on a bus with someone else from the ppk without us reading way too much into it and never letting it go.

8- Please don't start your sentences "Um." It's obnoxious.

9- Above all, promise to be awesome at all times.
