Blog recipe cooking challenge

We're still doing this right?!!? I know we still have another cookbook challenge week, but I'm excited about the blogs! I don't have to think about not having the book, or not having the recipes. Yay. Anndddddd, I really don't use blogs enough. Does someone already have a list? Do we need to make a list?

Re: Blog recipe cooking challenge

I would love to do this! I wasn't able to do much of the cookbook challenge due to some personal issues that took up a lot of my time. I don't have a big list, but I would definitely like to include the PPK blog, Vegan Dad, and FatfreeVegan.

Re: Blog recipe cooking challenge

I am super excited about the blog challenge! I really really really think My Veggie Kitchen should be included.
I'd like: My Veggie Kitchen, Vegan Dad, The Vegan Mouse, Fat Free Vegan, and of course the PPK blog.

There is a huge history there, if you search the forum you'll find a lot of stuff about what all went down. As a result there are a number of people who are less than pleased with her and choose not to support her.

Re: Blog recipe cooking challenge

I believe this is the first blog challenge. It is inspired by the cookbook challenge, where we picked a cookbook each week, participants tried to cook 3 or 4 recipes from that book and posted about the results. It was a good way to get motivated to try new recipes and find out what worked or didn't for other people. And it's fun to know that a bunch of people out there are cooking from the same source you are on a given week. So I'm guessing the blog challenge will be pretty much like the cookbook challenge, but with a blog each week instead of a cook book.

Agreed + the most of the ones BAD suggested. Should we go for 10 again?

I was thinking that was a good number!

Can we all agree on: PPK blog, Vegan Dad, fatfreevegan, bittersweet, happy herbivore, the vegan mouse, vegan lunch box....?

3 more!

+ My veggie kitchen, happyveganface, and...my vegan cookbook (I dunno...these things always seemed interesting..)?

Also, do we want schmooed food to be included with vegan lunchbox? or separate? or not?

Re: Blog recipe cooking challenge

together? I find a few veganlunch box entries ask you to go to schmooed foods for the recipe.

What about everydaydish?

What about "Have Cake Will Travel"? I just recently found that site so I haven't tried any recipes yet, but a lot of them look really good. Has anyone had any experience with them?
