Re: Which Isa/Terry recipes do you think get too little love?

I love both of those recipes, but my husband doesn't.  And since it's only the two of us, I rarely make them.  I used to make the casserole all the time, but once he told me he doesn't actually like it that much, I stopped making it.  I think I might make it for my own lunches just because.

Citrus date sesame sauce from VCON. After tasting it I just poured some of it into a bowl and ate it with a spoon like oatmeal. It reminded me a bit of a spice cake batter. Next time I make it I think I'll half the miso to make it less tangy and even more delicious (I imagine).

Udon noodles with peanut sauce and seitan from VWAV

I made that so much my first vegan year! That peanut sauce is so, so good!
Also, the mango tofu and the jerk seitan from VWAV!

The VCON roasted garlic, tomato, rice, and bean soup is a staple around here.

is the setanic jambalaya from VCon super popular? Because I just made that based on someone's recommendation here and it was amazing. I think I could make it once a week and never get tired of it.

Some of these are on my list to try too!

Yes!  How did I forget to list those?  They are so full of crunchy, almondy goodness that I can hardly stand it!

Y'all are still listing things I had no idea I even had a recipe for.  I'm going to have to get busy trying these.

I am in love with the chickpeas romesco from VCON (seriously one of my favorite recipes ever), and also the tofu dill salad from VWAV.

Thank you for mentioning this!  I had all the stuff and threw it together yesterday, it's unbelievably easy and delicious!  I was completely missing out.

gazborscht!  or borschspacho as i like to call it.  SO GOOD!   and it's super in season right now!  I love when I get beets and tomatoes at the same time so i can make this.  it's so fresh and healthy tasting and it's so awesome to have a cold soup in the middle of summer.

Re: Which Isa/Terry recipes do you think get too little love?

I've made the gazborscht 3 times this month because my CSA has been beet heavy.  Each time I'm astonished anew at how delicious it is.  I made it for a dinner party last week and after eating a bowl of it my husband asked "what is this" and he didn't believe me when I said beets, as he's an avowed beet hater.  Then he had another bowl.  My current favorite recipe.

The black bean, corn and chipotle stew, or whatever it is called in VWAV is a favorite in my family.  And the red lentil - cauliflower curry in VCON.  Oh, and tempeh shepherdess pie!
